However, it seems that the game has a hidden feature which many players still don't know about. Not only can you warp to ongoing races in the game, but you can also view their ghosts racing in real-time.
Ghost racers aren't a new thing in games. Plenty of racing games feature these translucent avatars to show previous record holders or other players in the game's shared world. However, this has never been done in any Mario Kart game before, and the game doesn't even inform you that you can fast travel to tracks where races are ongoing.
