A dedicated fan has recreated Skyrim's entire map using over 70,000 LEGO bricks. Veteran players know that The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim features one of the largest maps in the franchise, highlighting just how much time and effort went into the project.

With nearly 15 square miles of explorable space, Skyrim's map is the fifth largest in the series. It's divided into nine holds, or regions, and packed with hundreds of landmarks and points of interest. None of this, of course, deterred one passionate fan from recreating Skyrim's world using an unconventional material: LEGO.

A fan of Skyrim finds inspiration in Bethesda's game, and recreates the iconic city of Whiterun within The Sims 4, impressing fans of both games.

Ian Roomasa, a Guinness World Record holder, has recreated The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim's map using 73,761 LEGO bricks. The passion project took over three years to complete, with Ian spending the first nine months planning and the next two and a half years building. To put its scale in perspective, the LEGO map is an 8-foot-wide, 6.3-foot-tall raised relief model made up of 44 layers of bricks.
