Infinity Nikki has released a new redemption code for global players, giving them 10 Resonite Crystals, 100 Diamonds, 28,888 Blings, 200 Shiny Bubbles, and 200 Threads of Purity. While Infinity Nikki had a major blow to its reputation in Version 1.5, Infold has steadily tried to earn back the community's trust. By delaying Version 1.6, it allowed the developers to deliver a stable experience, largely bereft of any game-breaking bugs. Version 1.7 followed up with a darker, more mature story, as players got to experience the heart-wrenching tale of Sith and Alesiya.
Despite addressing the issues that Infinity Nikki players had with storytelling and tone, the game still features a strange retcon to its Prologue, and the co-op zone in the Sea of Stars remains disappointingly empty. As a result, many Infinity Nikki players still boycott the game, vowing to only come back once Infold undoes the damage caused by Version 1.5.
