Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is the next game from the Monument Valley team at Ustwo Games, and though it was just revealed this summer, its launch date is right around the corner.

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure will hit PC and iOS exclusively via Apple Arcade on December 11, less than a month from now. In this adventure game, players take on the role of the titular young girl and explore a Mediterranean island where he grandparents used to live. When she arrives, it becomes apparent that the local wildlife and their habitat are in need of help, so the young girl sets out to be the ally they need.

Alba can use her camera as well as the help of other volunteers to learn more about each creature and get the animals to safety. You can see it for yourself in this new gameplay trailer.

The game will launch on Apple Arcade at the end of a strong year for the fairly new subscription service. Also launching this week on the service is Annapurna Interactive and Giant Squid's The Pathless, which is a PS5 timed-exclusive, but will simultaneously launch on PC and Apple Arcade. This follows other big games as of late such as Team17's The Survivalists, the spiritual successor to The Escapists and Reigns: Beyond, the sequel to the beloved strategy title that pits players as leaders of a populous and asks them to make hard choices.

Apple Arcade now offers well over 100 games for subscribers. Very few have left the service yet, while many of the library's popular titles, such as Grindstone from Capy Games, and Roundguard have received content updates. Typically Apple Arcade releases about one game every week or so, with them often arriving on Fridays, though neither of those is a hard and fast rule.

As for Alba, her journey on Apple Arcade, as well as PC, begins on December 11.
