For as long as online multiplayer games have been around, there's always been a subset of players that have no interest in grinding the "right" way and instead rely on account boosters to help get them to whatever level they desire — see Elon Musk and his many gaming-related controversies.
That said, things might be changing when it comes to boosters and account sellers in League of Legends, and if you're not on board with that, then one developer has a job-related suggestion for you.
Initially, in a post shared on Twitter, Drew Levin, a leader of Product and Strategy at Riot, shared that the team is going after those selling or sharing accounts and boosting, helping put an end to an ongoing issue that will see accounts that have been "commercially" boosted, botted, sold or shared permanently banned.
That update seemingly struck a chord with one gamer, who shared that their main source of income comes from account boosting, something they stand to lose once those changes go into effect.
"What I do after? Just chill at McDonald's?" the user wrote in response.
Turns out, the answer is: Yes.
Levin retweeted the user's question with a link to...
