Apex Legends has received some notable bug fixes as part of a new update for August 2025. The update primarily addresses issues with the new season and should improve the gameplay experience for Apex Legends players.
The last few months have been an exciting time for Apex Legends players. After releasing a new Legend last season, Respawn has looked to build on that momentum in Season 26 by adding Wildcard, a new permanent mode, along with implementing new balance adjustments for Legends and weapons. While many of these changes have been well-received by the community, there have been some issues reported following Season 26’s launch.
To help squash some of the known bugs, Respawn released a new update on August 13. While not one of the largest patches, it had a significant impact on the battle royale. Specifically, Caustic was tweaked in the latest update. Respawn had wanted to buff Caustic at the start of Season 26 by giving his kit an overhaul. However, his Gas Fighter upgrade was lasting longer than intended, making him even more powerful. This latest update has corrected this issue.
Besides Caustic, several other important Legend fixes were implemented. Thanks to this update,...
