Battlefield 6's second Open Beta weekend has given players a chance to try out its take on Rush, but it seems like most agree that it's a massive, "neutered" downgrade that EA has already started to fix.
When you think of Battlefield, there's a very strong chance that you picture the massive maps and chaos that are mostly found in its signature Conquest mode. While it's true that Conquest is BF's bread and butter, a lot of long-term fans will also think of Rush, another beloved staple of Battlefield since Bad Company.
Rush sees players split into two teams, attackers and defenders, who must either destroy an M-COM station with an explosive and limited respawns, or defend it until time runs out. It's smaller and more focused than Conquest, but it's still classic Battlefield, and something that fans were looking forward to seeing in Battlefield 6.
Unfortunately, it seems that Battlefield 6's version of Rush is perhaps its biggest miss so far. Fans got the chance to try the mode out as part of the second Open Beta weekend, and the reception so far has been overwhelmingly negative pretty much everywhere you look.
