With the open beta test for Battlefield 6 ending, fans will have to wait till October to get their fill of it once again. While the massive number of players that queued up for the open beta is indicative of its success, the general consensus is that the series is back after the disappointing reception for Battlefield 2042.

Some have voiced concerns about how weapons are unlocked based on career rank rather than weapon class rank, while others think that Battlefield 6 favours open weapon classes that ruin the balance. However, some long-time fans think the game aims to bring in Call of Duty fans rather than cater to Battlefield fans.
