Gamescom Opening Night Live had a fair number of exciting reveals (all of which you can find here), but one of the most popular announcements was Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. It's a title with an original story, but is inspired by all the Caped Crusader's escapades, and will be lined with references to the movies, TV shows, comics, and more.
It looked fantastic, and with Arkham-inspired combat and stealth sections, it was shaping up to be an all-time Lego game. Unfortunately, a lot of the hype surrounding the title has died down a little, after Telltale Games revealed exactly how many iconic Batman characters we'll be able to play as when the game drops.
First noticed by Reddit user Thevoid2YT and shared with the Lego Gaming subreddit, Legacy of the Dark Knight has decided to break from the tradition of having hundreds of playable characters to unlock and choose from. Instead, the FAQ page for the game has revealed that there will only be seven playable characters this time around.
Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul are the characters that you'll be able to control during your time...
