After reaching its 33rd anniversary, the hit fighting game series Mortal Kombat will soon bring veteran and new players back to the 1990s and early 2000s with the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.

All of these games will feature local and online multiplayer with rollback netcode as well as brand-new never-before-seen interviews with Mortal Kombat’s legendary creators and actors, such as Ed Boon, John Tobias, Kerri Ann Hoskins, and more.
On top of all of these games and features, Digital Eclipse recently announced the final two games in the Kollection’s lineup during the Xbox Showcase at Gamescom 2025: the rather infamous 1997 Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero and 2000’s Mortal Kombat: Special Forces.
