Fewer Than 10 People Are Playing FBC: Firebreak on Steam Right Now

FBC: Firebeak's concurrent Steam player count has plummeted to single digits as the game's struggles continue. While the Control spin-off generated a good deal of excitement leading up to its release, it hasn't had the easiest time maintaining a consistent player base post-launch. While the devs have big plans for FBC: Firebreak down the line, it seems many of its PC players have already checked out.

Despite its current state, the co-op shooter got off a decent start upon its debut. Shortly over a week after its launch, FBC: Firebreak surpassed one million players across all platforms, something a low price tag and a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass likely helped. Since then, though, things haven't been quite as sunny, with the game receiving mixed reviews and its player count quickly dwindling from those initial heights, at least on PC.

According to SteamDB (as spotted by TheGamer), FBC: Firebreak is currently sitting at just seven players on Steam at the time of writing. Its 24-hour peak is higher but still low at just 21, and it has dipped into single digits several times over the past few days. This continues an unfortunate trend the game...
