Despite Battlefield 6 boasting a massive playercount during its open betas, one analyst thinks that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will still beat its sales thanks to "autopilot purchasing"
As we're all painfully aware of, Call of Duty is one of the biggest gaming franchises of all time, which it regularly proves with how much each game sells. Even when a COD release isn't received too well (just look at Modern Warfare 3 in 2024), it still proves to be massively successful when it comes to bringing in money.
This year has seemed like it might be a little different, though. For the first time since 2021 had Vanguard and 2042 going up against each other, Call of Duty has some notable competition in the FPS space this year thanks to Battlefield 6. The long-awaited return of Battlefield is already pulling in some massive numbers, but it apparently still won't be enough to beat Black Ops 7.
