Pokemon GO has announced Wild Area 2025, which will introduce the Impidimp evolutionary line to the hit mobile game. The event is also set to expand Pokemon GO's shiny pool and offer a variety of other content.
The first iteration of Pokemon GO's Wild Area took place in November 2024. It started with a special in-person event in Fukuoka, Japan, on November 16 and 17, followed by a global debut a week later. The event featured Gigantamax Toxtricity and the then-new GO Safari Ball.
Nearly a year after Niantic announced Pokemon GO's Wild Area 2024, the company has confirmed the event will return this year. Wild Area 2025 will kick off in Nagasaki City, where an in-person event is planned for the November 7–9 period. This will be followed by a two-day global celebration taking place on November 15 and 16. Impidimp, Morgrem, and Grimmsnarl will make their Pokémon GO debuts throughout both instances, with the Dark/Fairy dual-type mons being positioned as the highlights of the happening.
