Saber Interactive has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’s Patch 10, titled the Anniversary Update, will arrive on September 4, while also revealing a roadmap that details plans extending into 2026. Released in September 2024, Space Marine 2 received warm reception from critics and players alike, earning praise for its crunchy combat and satisfying game feel. The short campaign and lack of endgame content did raise some eyebrows, but the post-launch content updates put those concerns to rest.
Since launch, Space Marine 2 has received quite a few major updates, both paid and free. All paid DLCs, including the Season Pass, are purely cosmetic, with gameplay content being released for free. Over the past year, Space Marine 2 has received new game modes, quality-of-life features, and gameplay improvements in the form of free updates, released roughly every three months.
