For some strange reason, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater appears to have all of the original game's assets and models hiding within its files, completely unused.

As far as remakes go, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is certainly on the safer side of things. While there have been a few notable changes like the revamped control scheme and, of course, the new visuals, it's basically a one-to-one recreation of the original game, just made a lot prettier and easier to play.

One look at Metal Gear Solid Delta shows how close its animations, cutscenes, and models are to the original game, suggesting that Virtuos stuck closely to Hideo Kojima's masterpiece. In fact, we can even see remnants of the studio's homework in the remake's files, although it's not really clear why it's still there.

Over on the Metal Gear Solid subreddit, Redditor OMGplays pointed out a rather interesting discovery that they made after exploring Delta: Snake Eater's files using FModel. One of the folders in the remake is titled "OldMGS3" and it contains, you guessed it, what appears to be every asset from the original game.
