Hollow Knight: Silksong PC Players Just Got More Great News As Ultrawide Support Will Be Available At Launch

'Twas the night before Silksong, when all through the house, the gamers were stirring, their hand on their mouse. After almost seven long years, Hollow Knight: Silksong is on the precipice of release. Countless predictions, innumerable meltdowns, and a handful of sacrifices are all in the past, as this year's most anticipated title is almost here.

While many of Silksong's secrets are likely to remain undiscovered for an extended period, especially given the considerable time Team Cherry has had to work on the game, others are coming to light as the development team continues to reveal details about the game. The latest piece of information provides great news for PC players, as it's been confirmed that there will be support for ultrawide monitors at launch.

Speaking on Twitter, Matthew Griffin, marketer and publisher for Team Cherry (and Mongoose Rodeo, which is developing the awesome Crowsworn), revealed that Silksong will launch with ultrawide support. The game, on PC, will fully support ratios of up to 21:9.

Alongside the tweet, Griffin shared four ultrawide images of Silksong, and they're as beautiful as you'd expect.

The first shows the hornet in a lush green environment, the second what will presumably be the Dirtmouth-like...
