The upcoming Woolhaven DLC will add nearly as much playtime to Cult of the Lamb as its base game. Gamescom's Opening Night Live event featured a series of gaming announcements, among them the Woolhaven DLC for Cult of the Lamb. The announcement trailer showed various features through a quick succession of clips, making it clear that the DLC would add a lot more content to the game compared to previous expansions.
As more information came out, such as blog posts from the development team, it became clear that this would be a full-blown expansion pack. According to the posts, Woolhaven will allow players to deepen their knowledge about the story of "lambkind." Fans know that the lamb was going to be sacrificed at the start of the base game, but now they can learn more about the lamb's past and where they came from. To do this, it seems that players will have to restore a new region, explore more dungeons, and survive in hazardous weather conditions.
