Final Fantasy 14 is getting its second crossover with Monster Hunter next month, as Guardian Arkveld will be storming into Eorzea to do battle with various Warriors of Light. It's a much-needed injection of interesting content that will hopefully tide players over until the game's next patch, and Square Enix is getting ready for Arkveld's debut by sharing some of the goodies players will be able to grab.
In a new update to the Final Fantasy 14 Lodestone, details about the Arkveld were released, including the average item level that players will need for the normal and extreme versions. We also got to see the minions that will be available, a closer look at the Seikret mount that was shown off in the announcement trailer, and that all-important gear that we'll be grinding for.
On that front, it looks like we have both good news and bad news. On the good side, it looks as though we'll be getting the Hope gear set this time (the starting armor from Monster Hunter Wilds) and it looks to be the same version from the actual game rather than a Final Fantasy 14-styled set like Square Enix did with the Rathalos...
