Your Broken Borderlands 4 Builds Are Going To Stay A While As They're Not A Priority For The Devs

Gearbox has already put out one patch to address Borderlands 4's performance issues, but it seems some players are still experiencing stuttering and crashing. Randy Pitchford may want you to refund the game, but the devs are busy working their way to a proper fix. Meanwhile, those who haven't been having issues have created some broken builds for their Vault Hunters.

By broken, I don't mean perfectly optimized to take out Psychos in one shot. The game definitely has some balancing issues which players have exploited to make their character overpowered. For instance, there's one random purple weapon that melts bosses in one shot, or a Rafa build that's so broken that you don't even need to fire a shot. However, these aren't a priority for Gearbox.

It seems the devs are in no rush to fix these broken weapons or builds, as they've got other priorities. "We’ve seen the discourse about builds that use unintended interactions and/or the knife," said creative director Graeme Timmins on Twitter (thanks, IGN). "We’re not going to act on those immediately, instead, we’re looking at our first round of buffs. Those will get addressed but we’re going to start with underperforming gear/skills first."...
