As successful as Mario Kart World has been so far, there have been plenty of complaints about the Switch 2 launch title. Nintendo proved today that it's not only listening to those complaints, but it's also willing to tweak the game, rather than forcing players to have fun on its terms, as World's 1.3.0 update includes numerous tweaks and fixes that players have been asking for since launch.
The biggest one is an increased frequency of three-lap races. Nintendo already did this once, and it has now upped the rate at which standard Mario Kart races should appear even more. One of World's gimmicks is its courses that have you racing from one track to the next. Despite complaints that the style isn't as good as traditional lap-style races, Nintendo initially tried to force those playing online into racing from point to point rather than round and round.
