After much anticipation and a little bit of concern, Marvel's Wolverine, the next Marvel project from Insomniac Games, was finally re-revealed during this week's PlayStation State of Play presentation. To put it succinctly, the game is real, it's coming in Fall 2026, and it will have a level of gore suitable for a Wolverine title.
During the game's re-reveal, beyond seeing Wolverine in his iconic yellow digs, Omega Red and Mystique were also shown off. Following the gameplay trailer, fans of the game believe they've figured out just how Mystique will be introduced in the story, and, well, we have to hand it to them for being creative.
As first posted on Twitter by superhero fanatic Capital Spidey, they believe that the Mystique reveal in Wolverine will come during a mission in which you think you're playing as Logan, only for the grand reveal to be that it was Mystique all along.
