If last year was the "Year of the Anime Game," with the release of so many titles, and the early part of this year was the "Year of the Ninja" with both Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden coming out, then right now, we're in the "Year of the Kart Racer." That's because beyond Mario Kart World, there's a worthy competitor in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, along with the revival of Garfield Kart.
Now that CrossWorlds is finally out, Sonic fans are making discoveries left and right, such as how SpongeBob SquarePants is somehow a "Handling" character, despite having failed his driving test numerous times. That's not all, though, fans have figured out the best way to play CrossWorlds, and it's a simple settings switch.
In a post shared on Twitter, content creator Sam Procrastinates has urged those playing CrossWorlds to do so with the "Dynamic Camera" setting turned on instead of the default camera.
The setting helps provide an extra level of immersion in a game that is largely built around speed. In a separate post, the creator noted that the FOV in dynamic helps create the illusion of speed.
Granted, as one player noted, the trade-off is a lower map visibility...
