There's not much you need to pay attention to when it comes to Borderlands 4. You can simply switch off your brain, pick your favourite gun, and lay into the hordes of enemies all over Kyros. Along the way, you'll come across some characters and cutscenes who you can half pay attention to, but for the most part, you just need to head to the marker and kill everyone there.

However, if you're someone who really wants to min-max your character, you might have to read some of the other things on the weapon cards besides the big number. At that point you may come across terms like Skill Damage and Action Skill Damage without knowing what exactly they are. Thankfully, one Gearbox dev has broken it down for us.
