Dune: Awakening wasn't just a huge success for its developers at Funcom. In the company's 30+ year history, they had never seen a release this big. Naturally, this leaves a post-release question that many players would have in mind. 'Where do they go from here?'

"The transition from development to long-term live operation, while also building towards a major console release next year, will require us to restructure our teams." Funcom said to GamesIndustry.biz in a statement about Dune: Awakening's success. And if you flinched while reading that, then congratulations, you have pattern recognition!
"Unfortunately," the statement continues, "this also means having to say goodbye to cherished colleagues."
