With just two weeks to go until its launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, one of the most anticipated games of 2025 for Nintendo fans, is back in the spotlight with a brand-new trailer.

Lasting six minutes (better grab a coffee to watch it fully), the video provides quite a deep overview of the game, summarizing practically everything you need to know before starting up your adventure across Lumiose City once again.

So, in the trailer, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company detail the RPG’s revamped battle system, the bustling Wild Zones of the city, its much more dynamic way of capturing wild Pokémon, and also jazzy battle themes. Oh, and it confirms: Salamence is finally standing again!

To give it a final touch, the developers even state that it is an experience not only for die-hard Pokémon fans, but also for new players who are about to toss their first Poké Ball. Take a look:

I look forward to tackling the nighttime tournament and having some relaxing café moments in Lumiose City. However, I couldn’t help noticing that the trailer’s fan reactions were filled with already unhappy players.
