Earlier, we wrote about the perception that it's easier than ever to catch Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. As my colleague Sam Woods pointed out, it boils down to a tech upgrade, rather than boosted spawn rates. More Pokemon visible on screen at once, he notes, means greater chances that you'll see one at any given time.
There's a bit more to it, however, as players are now discovering: Shiny Pokemon do not despawn unless battled and/or captured. This is a true game-changer.
Courtesy of Kotaku, we've caught chatter in the shiny hunting scene from folks who are having a splendid time racking up wins like never before. It all boils down to that wonderful lack of shiny despawning. Head on over to Wild Zone 3, climb up to the roof that prompts a screen change, and then head back down. Repeat this to your heart's content. Not only will your character presumably enjoy a robust cardio routine, but shiny Pokemon are sure to show. Eventually.
