You can simply enjoy Borderlands 4 by using whatever weapons and items you find to shoot enemies, or you can double down and create the perfect build to unleash murder on a scale that Kairos has never seen before. There are several broken builds that can one-shot bosses in the game, but each of them exploits the crit knife method.
This crit knife is one of the most powerful items in Borderlands, allowing you to land only critical hits on enemies, thanks to its penetrator augment. Skills and mods are then used to boost critical damage, making the build too powerful. Gearbox was going to nerf it this week, but it seems we've been given another week with our broken builds.
A tweet on the game's Twitter handle revealed that the latest update has been pushed to next week, in time for the Horrors of Kairos update, meaning we can enjoy our crit knives till then. "Quick update that our Day 30 Update, which includes balance adjustments, performance and stability improvements, and some new quality-of-life features, will be hitting early next week," says the tweet."
