Battlefield 6 launched to both critical and fan acclaim, cementing it as the preferred war shooter of the year, unless Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 pulls off a miracle. The player count speaks for itself: not only has it already outsold more than half of the entire Battlefield series, but those numbers have also propelled Steam to reach new heights.

However, despite a long and successful beta, a multiplayer game as massive as Battlefield 6 constantly requires balancing and tweaking, like the bugged hit registration. Another adjustment that Dice announced yesterday was the reduction of ticket counts in Conquest across the board, and the community seems split over this decision.

The Battlefield Comms Twitter handle revealed that Dice has taken this decision as "many rounds were hitting the time limit instead of ending when one team ran out of tickets." While the team will keep monitoring this issue, the biggest cuts have come to Operation Firestorm and Mirak Valley, whose tickets have been reduced from 1,000 to 700. The rest of the maps have seen their tickets reduced to either 900 or 800.
