For a game that's pretty solid gameplay wise, Borderlands 4 sure has some easily avoidable issues. Performance issues aside, the game's UI is unnecessarily complicated, a number of features just aren't explained, and the open world isn't really that open. These are all issues that the devs should have thought of during development, and have proved to be annoyances post launch.
However, what's most annoying is when you finally make it through a grueling boss fight, ready to claim your well-deserved rewards, only to see them sailing over you and falling into an inaccessible chasm. It seems a lot of players have been complaining about this issue, especially when legendaries are literally going down the drain.
A video shared by Reddit user Glorf_Warlock hilariously (and sadly) showcases the loot dropped by a boss sailing over their head and falling into the void. The two-second boss as they look into nothingness is hilarious, but all the rewards from the Vault Guardian are lost, making the entire fight pointless.
It seems Gearbox did think of this issue, as heading back to one of the faction bases and using the Lost Loot kiosk would get you your loot back, however,...
