Pokemon Legends: Z-A Players Are Disappointed With The Game's "Anemic" Pokedex

Pokemon has been around for so long that it's probably impossible for a game to launch with every single 'mon available to capture. That usually means a Pokemon game is usually made or broken by the quality of its Pokedex, as Game Freak will hand select a couple of hundreds to include in the base game, and then gradually add more via updates or DLC. That's how it worked with both Pokemon Sword & Shield, and Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

That's also how Pokemon Legends: Z-A is going to work too, as the game has a fairly limited Pokedex, but will almost definitely be getting more Pokemon to capture when the Mega Dimensions DLC launches. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't seem to be too thrilled with the Pokemon on offer in the base version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, especially for the legendary enjoyers out there.

A Reddit user called ShadeofIcarus is one such fan, who posted on the Pokemon subreddit about the Legends: Z-A Pokedex feeling "anemic" compared to other games. In their post, they complain about the game's lack of legendaries and mythicals, especially compared to the likes of Legends: Arceus.
