Despite Randy Pitchford's online weirdness, Gearbox knocked it out of the park with Borderlands 4. Not only has it got great reviews, but it has also performed well in terms of sales, topping U.S. charts and becoming one of the year's best selling games. However, the game did have its fair share of problems.
Aside from performance issues, players were baffled with the game's UI, which made it harder to sift through weapons and loadouts. The open world was not so open thanks to the many invisible walls. While all that could be looked past, the recent Horrors of Kairos Halloween event has really annoyed players.
The event went live yesterday, adding a Halloween makeover to Kairos. Among the offerings were new skins, a legendary weapon and grenade, and a seasonal weather variant. However, while Gearbox did make the offerings clear, fans couldn't believe just how little the event entailed.
