Halo fans really aren't happy about the Needler's design in Campaign Evolved, as it's basically the same one from Infinite, pointless ammo counter and all.
If there's one thing that even the most diehard Halo haters can praise the series for, it's the wonderful suite of weapons that Bungie introduced in the original trilogy. From the Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer to the Battle Rifle and Plasma Pistol, Halo has more than its fair share of iconic arms.
While the Energy Sword is arguably the poster child for Halo as a whole, I think most fans would agree that the Needler is the quintessential Halo weapon, and has been since it was introduced in Combat Evolved. The Needler has gone through many changes over the years, but none are getting as much flak as the one in Campaign Evolved.
Yesterday, Halo Studios finally confirmed the long-running rumours that it's working on a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved by revealing Campaign Evolved to the world at the Halo Championship Series.
