Halo: Campaign Evolved Improves The Annoying Library Section From The Original

While it's been happening for a while, Halo: Campaign Evolved launching on PlayStation will be looked at as the official ending on Xbox exclusivity. Microsoft has been reshaping Xbox's strategy from a console-first one to a platform-first approach, with many exclusives launching on PlayStation, but Halo is undoubtedly the biggest one of them all.

Like any remake, Halo: Campaign Evolved will look to improve things from the original, not only when it comes to visuals, but gameplay and quality of life improvements as well. However, there was one segment in the original Halo: Combat Evolved that will get some extra additions because it was really annoying to get through.

Veteran gamers will know that The Library was one of the most frustrating levels in Combat Evolved. It was filled with relentless waves of Flood enemies, limited ammo drops, and very few checkpoints. Not to mention that everything looked the same, making it feel like Master Chief was stuck in some sort of nightmarish limbo. It seems Campaign evolved will be making a few tweaks to improve the experience.
