The Outer Worlds 2 Doesn't Let You Edit Your Appearance, But A Fan Has Already Come To The Rescue

The Outer Worlds 2 has a pretty solid character creator, similar to what we got in Avowed, but with some new options. In fact, it's so good that I was hoping to go back to it mid-playthrough, making some tweaks to my character after I saw them in action, and perhaps making changes that reflect what was going on in the story. Unfortunately, this is not possible, as there is no way to customise your appearance after character creation in The Outer Worlds 2.

Thankfully, a fan has already come to the rescue. Among the mods that are already available to download for The Outer Worlds 2, we have Character Editor from Nexus Mods user nathdev. This allows you to change your character's appearance and stats on the fly, so you aren't locked into whatever you picked at the start of your journey.

As you can see from the mod in action, it doesn't open the character creator from the start of the game. Instead, you simply gain access to a bunch of drop-down boxes, where you can go between different features for your character.
