Borderlands 4 has a lot of weapons in it (several billion if you believe Gearbox's big marketing spiel), but a good Borderlands game is always defined by its fun weapons and the ones you grind for. I still have very fond memories of turning up the volume of my TV and deeply annoying my brother by constantly using The Bane in Borderlands 2, a gun which screeches while the trigger is held down. Thankfully, he doesn't hate my guts.
That being said, even though Borderlands 4 has plenty of goofy weapons to play around with, there aren't really any unique weapons that you get from side quests. This is a topic that was recently brought up on the Borderlands subreddit, as it seems quite a few players are feeling the lack of unique weapons being rewarded to players in this manner.
