Halloween Game To Resolve Burning Series Questions In Its Story Mode

In about a year, horror fans will be able to play the third official Halloween video game based on the hit 1978 film, after 1983's Halloween for the Atari 2600 and 2024's RetroRealms: Halloween with Illfonic's upcoming Halloween.

The iconic mask of Michael Myers has appeared in several video games before, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, but he's never appeared in a game that truly captures the atmosphere and suspense of John Carpenter's classic film until Illfonic began development on Halloween.

Illfonic is no stranger to adapting beloved horror franchises into video games, as it previously developed Friday the 13th: The Game, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game, and Halloween will continue its tradition of delivering fun asymmetrical multiplayer games.

However, Halloween will be different from the aforementioned titles as it will also feature a dedicated single-player story mode that will expand on events surrounding the 1978 film and answer some burning questions and plot holes fans have long debated about for decades.
