With Battlefield 6's progression being more grind-y than anticipated, given the game's inane Assignments and Challenges to unlock key items for each class, it's unsurprising to see that many players have set up "bot" lobbies with the sole intent of farming for XP and making short work of specific Assignments.
Unfortunately, DICE pushed back hard on this, as it essentially killed bot XP farming in Battlefield Portal. This is a move that many community members are unhappy about, as some prefer playing with bots over the regular multiplayer experience.
The developers have rolled out a new Breakthrough variant that aims to cater to that, though I'm unsure whether this is the correct path to take.
