Each month since June 2010, PlayStation has offered subscribers to its PlayStation Plus online services program a set of free monthly games that they can then download and play for as long as they maintain an active paid subscription. The games have varied from month to month, with titles such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake and The Last of Us headlining the freebies.
Technically, if you're paying for the subscription the games aren't free, but I digress.
Still, no matter what, each month since 2010, gamers seemingly everywhere have gone online to complain about whatever it is that's being offered to the point that some are convinced that the games are getting worse and not better.
So, someone decided to put that to the test to determine whether the vocal online community actually has a point or is just stirring up drama. Turns out, things have never been better for PS Plus subscribers.
Meet OliveOcelot, a gamer who cares a lot about PlayStation. They created a video outlining the quality of the PS Plus monthly games by taking the base Metacritic scores of each title, then averaging it out to give a round score for every month.
