What was originally announced with a bang has ended in a massive whimper for Mortal Kombat fans, as the recently released Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection has been heavily criticized within its first few days on the market.
Earlier this week, TheGamer reported how the MK: Legacy Kollection came under fire for missing basic features, including the ability to play with friends. Those early criticisms, plus more issues like with the game's audio and visuals, led to the game being hit with a "Mixed" status on Steam, with dozens of negative reviews piling up by the day.
Now, in an effort to plug things up, developer Digital Eclipse has released the game's first patch.
Over on Steam, the Legacy Kollection's first hotfix has been released, with plans for an additional update to provide even more fixes to be released within the next few days.
In this initial update, a number of audio issues have been resolved, including an improved buffer for online play, as well as a restoration of missing audio.
