Loot is everything in the Borderlands series. The only reason we're killing so many bad guys and collecting so much loot is to use it on harder enemies and get better loot. Long time fans even farm bosses to get the exact variant of a gun they want. Unfortunately, sometimes this loot escapes you in Borderlands 4.
Sometimes games bug out and bosses may not drop the loot you want. At other times the loot might fall through the floor, leaving you rewardless for your efforts. But the biggest such complaint in Borderlands 4 is when bosses launch loot directly off the side of a cliff, especially for fights like Primordial Guardian Origo. It seems Gearbox has finally addressed this.
As showcased by someshooter on Reddit, boss loot will now bounce off an invisible wall if it's about to fall off a cliff. The issue was particularly annoying in encounters like the one with Origo, as it's on a small floating island, rather than a closed room or out in the open world. Players would constantly see their loot fall into the void, and not appear later in the Lost Loot machine.
