Obsidian Entertainment's newest RPG, The Outer Worlds 2, is a major hit.
Critics have fallen in love with the game, which currently has a "Strong" rating on Open Critic, and we agree:
Believe it or not, this is the second RPG Obsidian released this year, following the February release of Avowed, a game which I very much enjoyed, even if it failed to resonate with audiences.
Suffice it to say, Obsidian has been busy, and as a somewhat smaller studio with multiple projects in the works (285 employees working on several projects, including Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2, and Grounded 2), you can possibly understand why they'd resort to using AI assistance for customer support.
I'm not exactly happy with it myself, but it's the reality of virtually any customer support today: an AI chatbot will be utilized 99% of the time. It's something I literally just dealt with to upgrade my cell phone plan before writing this article.
Sometimes, as you can expect, mistakes happen, which is the case recently with one support request for Outer Worlds 2
