Ghost of Yotei improves upon Ghost of Tsushima's formula in many ways. Probably the best improvement that Sucker Punch has made is the side activities and open-world discovery. Each point of interest has something to improve your build and feels more meaningful than the open-word fillers from the previous game.
However, there are a lot of things lacking as well. Once you complete Atsu's mission for revenge, there's not much really left to do in Ezo, especially for completionists. Tsushima at least lets you liberate villages and strongholds again, but Yotei gives you nothing new to do. With no new game plus announcement by the devs, fans have decided to create their own.
The only option you have left if you've completed the game and all its side activities is to start a new save. Unlike NG+, this means you'll lose all your weapons, cosmetics, and upgrades.
