Dynamic pricing is a controversial, still relatively new, system that allows the prices of things like concert tickets and hotel rooms to change depending on outside factors, most notably demand. It's not something that has made its way into the gaming world yet, although further evidence has surfaced suggesting it's something PlayStation has been experimenting with.

Accusations suggesting the PlayStation Store uses dynamic pricing have surfaced again, thanks to a post shared on the PlayStation subreddit. The OP, who goes by DarXIV, claims that they noticed a price discrepancy between their own PlayStation account and their wife's when attempting to buy Red Dead Redemption 2's Ultimate Edition.

Red Dead 2's Ultimate Edition is usually $99.99. However, the age of the game means it is usually heavily discounted, and earlier this week, you could buy it for as little as $19.99. Well, actually, you could potentially pick up the $100 edition of Red Dead 2 for as little as $14.99 if these latest dynamic pricing accusations are to be believed.
