Fallout 4 Drops To Mostly Negative For The First Time Since 2017 Thanks To The Anniversary Edition

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition launched earlier this month, and on the whole, fans are not happy. Any update to Fallout 4 is bound to break mods, which is unpopular enough with a game as modded as Fallout 4, but it only adds insult to injury when the update also introduces bugs.

Now, we can see the full extent of the fan backlash, as Fallout 4 has dipped into mostly negative reviews on Steam. This appears to be the first time this has happened since 2017, as this update proves even more unpopular than the messy next-gen remake last year.

As you can see on Steam, a huge amount of negative reviews came flooding in as soon as the Anniversary Edition went live. This gave prospective players a new version of the game to purchase, but also updated the game across all of its releases, disrupting modded playthroughs.
