Scarlet Nexus is Getting a Demo

Gamers will have the chance to try out Scarlet Nexus before it releases. 

It has been announced that a demo for Scarlet Nexus will be released later this month (via Eurogamer). The demo will release on May 21st for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The demo will then release for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on May 28th. There was no mention of the demo coming out for the PC version of the game. There were also no details on what the demo will encompass. 

Earlier this year it was announced that Scarlet Nexus will release in June. The game will support Smart Delivery, allowing those who buy the game on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S versions for free should they purchase one of the new consoles. It was also announced that an anime based off of the game will be releasing later this year. The anime will be produced by Sunrise Inc, and will be available to stream through Funimation. 

Scarlet Nexus takes place in a distant future, where a psychic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people with extra-sensory powers. As humanity entered this new era, monsters known as Others began to descend from the sky, hungering for human brains. To combat these creatures, the Other Suppression Force (OSF) was formed, made up of members with powerful psychic abilities. Gamers will play as either Yuito Sumeragi, an energetic recruit from a prestigious political family, or Kasane Randall, the mysterious scout whose power and skill has gained great notoriety among the OSF, and will fight back against the Others. However, Kasane's dreams tell her strange things, dragging the two of them into an unavoidable fate. 

Scarlet Nexus will release on June 25th. the game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
