Xbox's E3 plans have been revealed and the date when it all happens is just a few weeks away. Together with Bethesda, which is a part of the Xbox family now but maintaining its own name in the title of the showcase, Microsoft has revealed the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. It will be streamed live on June 13 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET across all of Xbox's social channels, including Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube.

"You’ve told us how excited you are about welcoming Bethesda into the Xbox family," said Aaron Greenberg in a public blog post, "so we know you’re going to want a front-row seat to the Xbox & Bethesda Games showcase – a 90-minute show packed with everything you want to know about the epic gaming lineup coming out of this partnership, the incredible games coming to Xbox this holiday, upcoming releases on Xbox Game Pass, and more."

Among the most likely candidates to appear are Halo Infinite, the delayed-for-a-year mega-sequel from 343 Studios and Bethesda's Starfield which is rumored to launch in 2022. The latter has never been shown publicly beyond a simple logo, but that hasn't stopped the hype machine from consuming countless fans. Hopefully for everyone's sake, the game can put on a good first impression.

Also expected to be on the virtual stage is Age of Empires 4, following the game's presentation back in April. According to sources, the game is still on track to release in 2021. Lastly, one of the major tentpole games expected to be seen is Forza Horizon 5, which has quickly become one of Xbox's worst-kept secrets. The game is said to be heading to Mexico for a new map and will feature new gameplay options, though such details have remained more tight-lipped for now. The game, however, is all but a sure thing and allegedly even coming this year despite having no reveal of its own just yet.

Beyond those major releases, expect updates on other games from Xbox's now-massive first-party family, including a likely release date for Psychonauts and an ID@Xbox sizzle reel sure to include some day-one Game Pass indies. The summer is about to heat up in a big way. Watch for more showcases like this to be announced in the days ahead.
