Crafting items before selling them in ARC Raiders is generally not profitable – you're better off selling the individual components – but enterprising players have discovered a perhaps unintended crafting gold mine.
Reddit user Cryptidsspook outlines "the only real value in crafting" in ARC Raiders: Energy Clips. The ammo type is made out of two Batteries and one Advanced ARC Powercell, yielding five Energy Clips. Each one can be sold for 1,000 coins, so you're getting 5,000 coins for three relatively low-value items. Converting your Batteries and Advanced ARC Powercells into Energy Clips boosts your profits by more than 400%.
Each Battery can be sold for 250 coins, so the two required for crafting Energy Clips equal 500 coins. Add that to the 640-coin value of an Advanced ARC Powercell, and the supplies required to make 5,000 coins worth of Energy Clips are only worth 1,140 coins. This seems to be by far the biggest profit margin for crafting in ARC Raiders.
