Megabonk Spooky Update Adds New Map and Much More | TechRaptor

Developer and publisher vedinad has released a brand new update for the indie bullet heaven shooter Megabonk, and it's got a new map, a new character, and more for you to discover.

The Spooky Update, for so it is named, began as a smaller and less consequential patch before it grew into "a bit more work" than the creator initially planned. As the name suggests, the Spooky Update was originally intended to launch sometime around Halloween.

In terms of new content, you're getting a brand new map, a new character to play as, and a new weapon to use, as well as new items to collect, new enemies and bosses to fight, and new achievements to give you even more motivation to blast your way through Megabonk's hordes.

If you've been struggling with Megabonk's performance as you move into the late game, you'll be pleased to note that the Spooky Update also adds "a lot of improvements to FPS late-game", so hopefully, you shouldn't be quite so beset by lag now.
