If you can believe it, The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced all the way back in 2018. Yes, that's right, it's been well over seven years since we first got that painfully short trailer showing us that now iconic set of mountains, and we still don't have even a sniff of a reveal trailer in sight. It's very likely that we'll be waiting until at least 2028 for any news about a potential release date, meaning Bethesda is going to have been making The Elder Scrolls 6 for over a decade.

We know that game development takes a long time these days, especially the big-budget blockbusters, but over a decade is a very long time to be waiting for a game. It's very clear from Bethesda's style of development that it takes its sweet time making games, but just in case you somehow weren't aware of this fact, folks from Bethesda itself have reminded you.
