If you thought Cronos: The New Dawn, the latest survival horror game from Bloober Team, came and went without as much as a hiccup, then you're probably not alone. After all, releasing on the same day as Hollow Knight: Silksong is as cruel as it gets.

That said, it appears Bloober Team is ready to reignite interest in its newest title among lapsed players who may have found the game too difficult and those who may have missed out originally via a new difficulty option — an "Easy" mode.

In a new video shared online, Bloober Team has revealed that "Temporal Diver Mode," or "Easy" mode will be coming to Cronos: The New Dawn via an update in early 2026.

"Hey there, travelers. Cronos: The New Dawn was a game developed to challenge the players," Bloober Team said in the video. "But we’ve heard your voices, and we know that some of us want to explore the story behind the game (at) your own pace. So right now, we are working on a new difficulty setting that will be introduced in early 2026. Such is our calling."
